For the Individual’s Development
Today more than ever before, organizations are seeking better ways to accurately assess an individual’s strengths for development to help ensure the retention of top people. It’s also critical to ensure for the organization to have the right people in the right positions doing the right things for the right reasons.
Individuals as well are looking for a better understanding of their strengths to help them in their careers. In addition, individuals either in transition or looking to make a move will also find this information extremely helpful as they look toward the next opportunity.
This assessment process is a cornerstone of our customized Coaching program.
Headway Strategies uses the Innermetrix assessment tool which is comprised of three separate assessments to measure:
- how you think and make decisions (Attribute Index)
- why you are motivated and what drives you (Values Index)
- what is your preferred behavior style (DISC Index)
Together, these assessments provide a level of self-awareness and discovery that are core to achieving peak performance in any role or endeavor, to ensure that the individual is properly aligned with what they do best with how you do it and why. A brief explanation of each assessment type follows and a more detained explanation can be found by clicking on the assessment title .
Attribute Index™
A personal assessment tool that provides information as to how a person thinks and makes decisions—what natural talents he or she possesses.
By understanding the way in which a person thinks, it becomes possible for the individual to leverage that knowledge to make better decisions, maximize strengths, minimize weaknesses, and achieve greater results personally and organizationally.
Values Index™
Values Index delivers the most comprehensive understanding of a person’s value or motivational structure.
Understanding what really motivates or drives a person is a crucial part of success. It is this understanding that helps to ensure that optimal motivation, passion, and drive are always created to achieve the highest levels of personal and professional success.
DISC Index™
DISC measures a person’s natural and adaptive behavioral styles, which is crucial when working with team members, as a leader or manager, or in an environment that requires conflict resolution.
By understanding how you prefer to behave, you are able to better align your environment, and select the work that ensures more meaning and success while producing less stress.
The DISC Index is sometimes used in a group or team environment at all levels of the organization to help explain the different types of behaviors that can exist within a group. While each individual’s ranking are confidential, the debrief to the group can focus on the differences between the styles and how it can affect the group dynamics. This can be extremely helpful to build a strong team where team members are cognizant of the different behavior styles of the team members.
Finally, these three assessment tools can be used as a group or individually based on the individual situation.
